The missing foundation
Standard curricula skip straight to memorization without teaching children how to think mathematically. They assume kids already have flexible, visual thinking skills — but most don’t. That’s not the child’s fault. It’s a gap in how math is taught.
MathHacked fills that gap first. Rather than making kids memorize math facts through mind-numbing memorization, we give them patterns and associations enabling them to figure out the answers themselves. Not only is this fun for kids to do, it creates flexible thinking which makes mental math feel natural.
